Cooper Island, Manchioneel Bay day 7 of 10

Continuing on from The Baths we headed to Cooper Island. Todd was celebrating his 60th birthday on this trip and we were on a lobster-quest. His B-day dinner had been postponed pending satisfactory resolution of the quest. So far no one served lobster at any of the fun-filled locations that we visited. Anegada Island is known for their lobster but travel there requires open water sailing and some were not up for the task.

So we headed for the Cooper Island Beach Club on Manchioneel Bay. Scuttlebutt had it that they had pretty fair chow. We moored up in the bay and decided to have a nice snorkel before dinner.

After snorkeling we headed in to the beach and made our way up to the restaurant. I wasn't particularly impressed by their bill of fare, nor the prices. I mean how fancy can you make a plate of noodles, er, I'm sorry...pasta. Another strike against them was that we couldn't get a reservation until something like 8:30. And no lobsta mon...strike three. So we headed back to the boat and celebrated the dwindling day with a pitcher of Painkillers.
